Black Griffon Army List
Black Griffons use the following units from the Codex: Space Marines, Codex Daemonhunter and Forge Worlds: Imperial Armour Update.
HQ: Space Marine Heroes, Chaplain, Command Squad(1) , 0-1 Damocles Command Rhino
Elite: 0-1 Terminator Squad(2), 0-1 Terminator Assault Squad(2)
Troops: Black Griffon Squad(3)
Fast: Black Griffon Squad(3), Land Speeder Squadron, Land Speeder Tornado, Land Speeder Typhoon, Land Speeder Tempest
Heavy Support: 0-1 Predator Annihilator, 0-1 Predator Destructor, Land Raider, 0-1 Land Raider Crusader, 0-1 Land Raider Helios, 0-1 Land Raider Prometheus, Whirlwind, Orbital Strike
(1) The Command Squad consist of 3 Black Griffons and must be transported on a Land Speeder Thunderstroke. (2) Terminator Squads must be teleported into battle or transported by Land Raider to keep up the pace of the other Black Griffons. (3) Black Griffon squads are both tactical and assault troops, which is also reflected by their tactical insignia on the right shoulder pad.

Squad: The squad consist of one Space Marine Veteran Sergeant and three Space Marines.
Weapons: Bolters, frag grenades and melta-bombs. The Veteran Sergeant is also carrying an Auspex.
Options: Up to 2 Space Marines may be armed with a special weapon from the following list in place of their Bolter:
- Heavy Bolter with Hellfire Ammo and suspensor at +15 pts (see Chapter Approved Annual 2003 P.75);
- M.40 targeter, bolter & ammo at +10 pts (see Chapter Approved Annual 2003 P.75);
- Plasma gun at +6 pts;
- Meltagun at +10 pts
- Flamer at +3 pts
- Sniper Rifle at +5 pts (the Marine carrying the Sniper rifle has to replace his power armour with scout armour).
Transport: A Black Griffon squad must be mounted on a Thunderstroke Land Speeder.
