Retro SF Robots

A Robot Legionnaire-advancing from Hydras Robot Legion range. Stunning Retro SF Pulp Robots that capture the spirit of this genre perfectly! Best thing is that their minis are multipart kits with some customisation options.

Ace McGuire Galacteer Hero

Another great Hydra mini! Very heroic and so fitting to all retro SF games.

Gucky - Saver of the Universe!

The Gucky Mini is from the age old Metal Magic Perry Rhodan miniature line. Now sadly long OOP. If you look at these minis from a Perry Rhodan point of view you can see Gucky, a Gladiator Combatrobot and Perry Rhodan himself...

Generic SF Troopers

Two female Troopers from Mark Copplestone’s brilliant Future Wars range and an Officer.
The Officer is painted by Steve Dean. I bought the mini to learn how Steve is doing his unique style. I tried to simulate this painting technique on the two female Troopers. So far I like it.
The minis are really nice. You can use them for Starship Troopers MI, Alien Colonial Marines or plain and simple as Imperial Guard for 40K.

And I found another use for them. SG personnel!
Newest addition: SG 12. The minis are from the above mentioned Copplestone range, the backpacks are from TAG. (SG 12 is my new RPG campaign...)

Star Trek

I always liked Star Trek ship designs. One of my all time favourites are the Jem’Hadar attack fighters from the Dominion. So you can imagine that I was very happy to notice that Starcraft (Federation models) is producing a box of three fighters in the popular 1/1400 scale.

Ahh  - and finally a not too bad model of a female Klingon warrior. The model is 1/32 from Millennia Models. It is a multipart resin kit. The weapon sprue had a lot of flash and the casting quality is not really good. On the bright side: it is a quite multi posable kit of one of my favourite Star Trek races.

From the time that Decipher had the rights for the Star Trek RPG is the boxed set “Away Team”. One of the bad things about the box is that you have no clue how the minis look until you opened the box. The minis are OK, a bit small but enough detail.

Babylon 5

Some Babylon 5 miniatures. A Psi Cop and two Centauri. These are Harlekin Miniatures. A bit on the small side, but OK.
